WCAG 2.1 Level AA • ADA Title III

Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: January 1, 2026 • Last Updated: September 2026
Foresight Management is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards in accordance with Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Minnesota Human Rights Act (Minn. Stat. § 363A.11), and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

1. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for individuals with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.The Foresight Management website is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Substantially conformant means that parts of the content strive to meet the standard while active engineering improvements are continuously deployed.

2. Accessibility Measures & Features

We have integrated the following technical and architectural accessibility features into our platform:
  • Keyboard Navigation & Focus Indicators: All interactive elements (navigation links, buttons, form fields, and tab toggles) are operable via standard keyboard controls without mouse dependency. Visible focus rings are maintained for all focusable items.
  • Skip to Main Content: A dedicated, keyboard-accessible skip link is embedded at the top of every page, allowing screen reader and keyboard users to bypass repetitive header navigation directly to the main content landmark.
  • Semantic HTML & ARIA Landmarks: Pages are structured using appropriate HTML5 semantic landmarks (<header role="banner">, <main id="main-content">, <footer role="contentinfo">, and <nav>) to allow assistive technology to quickly parse document hierarchy.
  • Color Contrast Compliance: Text, badges, and active graphical elements are designed with high contrast ratios exceeding the WCAG 4.5:1 ratio for standard text and 3:1 for large display text and UI components.
  • Form Accessibility & Error Identification: All input fields have programmatic labels, required indicators, and polite aria-live status regions for clear validation announcements.
  • Alternative Text (Alt Text): Informative diagrams and founder portraits provide descriptive alt text. Purely decorative visual ambients include aria-hidden="true" to prevent screen reader clutter.
  • Reduced Motion Support: We respect operating system preferences for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion), suppressing ambient particle drift and smooth animations for users sensitive to motion.

3. Compatibility with Assistive Technology

Our web platform is designed to be compatible with:
  • Modern major web browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge.
  • Screen readers: Apple VoiceOver (macOS and iOS), NVDA (Windows), and JAWS.
  • Standard browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
